Diplomacy c1970 Maker Games Research Inc.
Best played by 7 players. Attacking too much can lead to being overstretched and open to counter attack, but being overcautious allows others to become impregnable. Win by forming alliances, but also by breaking your agreements and double-crossing your allies! With board but slightly incomplete lacking 1 yellow army and 1 red army, and with rules sheet substituted with 1989 revision from Gibson. Games can take hours and are for competitive players “age 12 and upwards”.
Another later edition by Gibsons (200 years of Board Games Exhibition, 1992). |
