Boxed examples turn up containing two spring cues as well as the balls and marker, and also with a booklet written by the Billiards player J P Mannock.
Some have a label on the box lid showing the Nuku logo or Trade Mark printed in green. Others, perhaps later have an Ayres label, green in a red border.
A Trade Mark for the name Nuku was applied for, no. 1911-0455 by Hutchinson and Perl Ltd., who may have been the original manufacturers. |
