David Ogilvy retired from his business as a maker of games in 1879. In that year he disposed of his games "to a London publisher", unnamed by him at the time but turned out to be John Jaques who then made a great success of the 12 Ogilvy One Shilling games; so much so that David Ogilvy in his retirement brought out two new games in his own name- this one, "Harlequin and Columbine" and "Rhyme Without Reason". This is an extract from a card included in this pack as illustrated. There is also a second card which lists all of the Ogilvy One Shilling games subsequently published by Jaques.

This example has 52 cards with the additional 2 making 54 with plain pink backs and slightly round corners. There is no box.
